Hey how did working under a different name affect your application? Anything special that they advised?

I did the application by myself, but I helped a couple of people around my neighborhood find lawyers... Man, these Phoenix lawyers are a bunch of bastards. All of them called $1600~$2500 price range, and I even found a $4000 one.

Dicks.

That's what we thought so too. We weren't satisfied with their services. We were done gathering our documents and filling up our applications by end of August. We called the following week and they still didn't send it yet. We had to go back and re-do our entire application for both forms since they were entering incorrect information. They didn't send it till 9/11.

They told my sister and I that my youngest sister's application (there's 3 of us) will be sent on 9/12. Then we didn't find out that they hadn't sent hers until 9/21 when we called to ask since we got our confirmation texts and she didn't.

Definitely. That's why I had to ask which state the person is from.

She's legitimate. I personally thought i could do it myself but my mother wanted to go with her just in case. In sensitive situations like this, it's better to be safe than sorry. Haven't received my approval yet but it does let you sleep a bit easier at night knowing someone accredited and familiar with you helped prepare. Besides, $1500 is nothing for a work permit and DL in my opinion if you have it or in my case, your fam has it and can help you out. Getting it was definitely a collective effort. Probably wouldn't have paid anymore than that though lol. Oh and I live in Ga.
I know it's better to be safe than sorry but they were putting incorrect information like what type of visa we had, they confused my graduation year with my sister's, at first he said we didn't need transcripts. It's too late now I guess but maybe we can ask him to lower his asking price lol. He asked for half the payment over a month before the actual requirements were released on 8/15.
