A pattern that I've noticed on this site is people frivolously waltzing into the Service Centers for no apparent reason except for 'because I can,' huh?! Who does that? Appointments are there for a reason, but hey, you don't have to listen to me, do as you please.
I actually tend to agree with the side of the officers from the Broadway location in Chicago that would not have allowed me to get the biometrics done had I no reason why I could not make the date originally assigned.

But I still do not believe it will delay the process by much.

Besides, from what I saw, they did not seem to be busy at all, 4 or 5 people working, two biometrics machine and the guy that did the biometrics waited for me to fill out my application, just sat there because there was no one getting their biometrics done at 11:30 in the morning.

Mod please do us all a favor and keep the "biometric walk-in" threads to a bare minimum.

Also, stop complaining on how slow the process is if you WALKED-IN when the people who submitted their application in the first week are patiently waiting for their turn to come.

I remember reading somewhere on this site (same thread that I linked to on the previous page) that the reason why the appointments are spaced out and centers sometimes seem empty is because they do not want to overload/crowd the FBI with Biometrics requests. It's one thing to have a valid reason for a walk-in, it's another thing if someone goes in just because they're impatient....
