I have a priority date in 2001 but got aged out 6 years ago while my parents got their green cards on time. If the USCIS doesn't appeal this decision to the Supreme Court which is unlikely, I could probably get a green card within a few months through my parents using the 2001 priority date. It would a dream come true for me. However, I am kinda worried that if this goes to the Supreme Court, they might rule in favor of the government's argument.

I wonder if this would benefit me...

My parents got their GC sometime in 2006, I was 17 at the time. They petitioned for me as soon as they were able to. Got a priority date of April 2007 I believe. However, the visa calendar was moving very slow at the time. Sadly, I turned 21 in march 2010 and my priority date didn't become current until june 2010. So i aged out by 3 months :/ Any of you care to explain if you think I would benefit from this?

Thanks

I'm surprised you weren't able to adjust with your parents at age 17 when they got their green cards as derivative beneficiary. Anyway did you do the CSPA age calculation? Since you only aged out by 3 months if your petition was pending (time before you received your priority date) for several months your immigration age might be lower.
