I love him to death and I do to have a chance to get my green card through him but I don't want to leave the country or be banned! Its something that I constantly think about... Hopefully being being approved with DACA can help the process of those who are married to USC.

The provisional wavier will help us out! It wont make them more lenient on proving extreme hardship but we wont be separated as long (2weeks tops). Rumor has it that it should start before the new year! you should check out immigrate2us.net Its such a helpful website! Good Luck girl! Best wishes to you and your hubby

What if you don't apply? my cousin EWI and married a Marine USC and she's not applying for DACA. I thought applying would help her case but I guess she's doing things differently.

I think its wrong when people do that. Marrying someone for the benefit of having a green card. Til death to as part. In sickness and in health.

I had a legitimate relationship for two and a half years, during the first year of which I had no idea I was undocumented. Then I told my at the time girlfriend that I was in that situation. This is towards the end of the first year when I just had found out. However, as I graduated from high school a year and a half later and went on to a four year, the thought of marriage came up(we had been dating two years and a half). She freaked out, thought I was using her (lol yes after two and a half years)... I didn't even propose. It was just a thought that maybe we could marry after college (by then our relationship should have six years). Yet this du mbass American thought I was using her. Hoe sad people are. Anyways, yes it's not simple.

I've been in a relationship with a citizen for 8 years, and planning on marrying as soon as I finish school (next spring) and I hope that this new rumored law is true, I don't want to be away from him for months.
