rfe help? :(

So I checked my status and it says an rfe was mailed out today so my question is could a four month gap trigger an rfe? I sent all supporting documents from when I was 9 and came in 2000. The last document I sent from 2011 was a college tuition bill dated 11/19/2011 then for 2012 I sent some debit card statements from March- June. The last thing I sent was a gym membership agreement from july 2012. For the id I sent out a copy of my matricula, as I have no passport. I have a clean background so I'm not sure what it could be. What do you guys think? Thanks in advance

thanks, the only thing I can think of is when I was about to become a resident when I was around two years old but I doubt it.

Wait i thought you were supposed to submit a passport and if you didnt have that a translated birth certificate.

Up to where I know you were suppose to submit a translated birth certificate regardless if you had a passport or not..

really? I thought it could be any type of id showing your identity etc..If so, I hope it's what the rfe is asking for and nothing out of my hands.
