Internal Checkpoints (Cali)

Alright, I've asked this question before but has anyone used the power of their deferred action approval yet by going through the internal checkpoints that are in some states like southern California?

Wait till your EAD arrives in the mail, then you're good to go.

I saw a video yesterday showing that someone on the Amtrak showed his EAD card to the BP agent and he didn't take it until the guy showed something else with it.

EAD should work, but I would go with state ID for safety issues

I have the EAD card already. State ID has to wait till I get my SSN and be able to apply for a Drivers License.

I was wondering if we would also show the Deferred action approval letter with the EAD card.

I live in Illinois right next to St. Louis Missouri and we don't have checkpoints in these states

I've gone through them. They just tell them to keep moving.

Lucky! Here in SoCal we have one going towards LA. SD to LA there's an internal checkpoint.
