^^wasn't aware doma had been overturned...must've happened recently?

like you said, it's not just democrats that wanted it overturned, i'm thinking moderates that feel strongly about the issue.

Well just because it's been ruled that way doesn't mean it's actually been overturned. The appeals process has made it so that the supreme court will make the final decision sometime im the next few months.

Yes it has been overturned but it is still law of the land. The Supreme Court will have to decide at the end.

Yes I am very well aware of that. When I said it has been overturned by the district courts, and one appeals court, I should have said "declared unconstitutional" because the Supreme Court is the last step.

Actually read up on it, and it hasn't been overturned, just 5 or 6 cases when it's been considered unconstitutional. Insofar the Supreme Court hasn't ruled yet.
