It may seem to some of you that I am misinformed, but allow me to explain something... Do you think the Dream Act is a permanent fix to the immigration problem in the U.S.? No. It will help ME and YOU, but the rest of the people here illegally are still left out. Immigration reform will only happen once the borders are secured and the flow of illegal immigrants stop. Once you can embrace this basic concept, you will understand what the Congress is faced with. Our parents did not do us any favors by bringing us here as children. If you are like me, you have been facing an uphill battle for most of your life. I can't get a driver's license, a good education, career, etc. We need a permanent solution for future generations to come.

So back to this basic concept, secure the border, and fix the situation within. Democrats have refused to secure the border and Republicans have been begging Obama to help stop the flow of illegal immigrants from Mexico. (Jan Brewer from Arizona) look it up.

I'm proud to call myself a Republican. Republicans (also known as Conservatives) are the hard-working middle class people in America who go to work every day and pay taxes. Hispanic people in general have always fit into this category. Hard working people who take care of their families.

We are not doing anyone any favors by giving them stuff for free. We are only enabling them to do more nothing. I believe in a hand up, but not a hand out. If someone can get the same money (or more) for sitting at home on the couch vs. getting a job and going to work, what do you think they will do?

It doesn't matter to me what your religion is. Buddhist or Christian. My point is that Obama is continuing to lead this country down a path that leads to Socialism, and more and more people dependent upon the govt.

I appreciate your opinion and hope you will appreciate mine. That is what makes America a great country. If you disagree with people like me, once we are able to vote, your voice will be heard in the ballot box.

Thank you.

Fuck him to hell. He knows daca is a legal executive action. Yet he has declared that he will not approve any daca applications if he is elected.

Fuck him. Obama is the lesser of two evils.

I respect your views. But, respect my uttermost hatred for that son of a bitch! Fuck him times infinity.

I respect your opinion.

but,

The problem with the current Republican policy is to secure the border, secure the border, secure the border, enforce, enforce, enforce, and that is it. They do not offer anything but a narrow view to a problem that is bigger beyond the 'Rule of Law'. The system is broken, and you can say a million different things, but we're here. The problem is not going to go away, it needs fixing and it needs a wide-range approach and not a closed off narrow view approach.

Sadly for everyone the Republican Party has been for the last 10 years or so been invaded by the extremist sector of the conservative party, and for the most part has hurt the country as a whole. Their view is 'take it or leave it', but 'it's my way or the highway'. That is counterproductive and counter democratic. I don't share all their views and I am not going to get sucked up in their ideology. I have my views and my belief and I would hope they would accept them, but they don't. I am a Moderate Democrat, conservative in many issues, and liberal in others. With how the Republican Party thinks now, many of my opinions would seem too Liberal when they were conservative a Decade ago.

I don't accept hand-outs and I don't respect those who take them, when their circumstances would allow for a better living. Those who are disadvantage because of disabilities, because of age, I understand them. But someone who is perfectly able, whatever their race, should be chastised. I don't believe in the view that they're going through hard times, and they have an excuse, TRUST ME, as a person without Legal Status, that has been our World since we can remember, and I for one have persevered. There is no excuse to FAIL in this country.

I may be a little more extreme here, but I do not believe in the 'Free Enterprise' view we have today. I believe in earning a dollar Honestly and Fair. Don't get me wrong, I do not believe in a Regulation State, but today's corporation own every aspect of our lives. The shape and mold our views to benefit their profit margins, they do not view consumers as people, but as dollar signs.
We need to go back to the days were you made a product because people needed that product and it benefited the country. We have products whose sole purpose is to make us unhealthy and sick, so big corporations can make money. Making us fat, making us sick, making us dependent on big companies who make the medicines to the ailments they produced in the first place. Big companies that produce unhealthy food, (Fast Food, Unhealthy food in the supermarket), which in turn makes us unhealthy and now we depend on big Pharma to feed us pills that might help or make us worst, and we have these energy companies which instead of investing in making their energy more efficient they want to pollute our water and air, why can't they spend more on R&D to make their operations environmentally Safe. I'm not a tree hugger, but I for one don't want to develop Cancer because a Energy Tycoon wanted to make more $$ on the quick. If they can't well let someone else do it who can achieve this, That is Free Enterprise. We have a corporate welfare that takes and takes, but does not want to give. They get bailed out, but can't give out more jobs. It just makes no sense.
I don't believe in Socialism, but we need a Small Govt that works, not for the big Corp's, like Repubs who fight for things like Citizens United, but for business that have ethics and are good for this country.

I don't believe in this Republican Party because they treat people like stupid minions. When bipartisan firms, non-profit firms, and common sense people can see from a mile away you're Lying and Misleading, and doing it on the backs of people who for the most part have no other means to know otherwise, those people should not be in any position to lead. I don't believe in TV like Fox News, they are the epitome of Corporate control.

I believe in people educating themselves, to inform themselves, to search for the truth based on their convictions and not those of a talking head on TV or the radio. When your whole view point is given to you by Right or Left wing talking heads you've got no respect, that is the basic principle of Freedom and Liberty.

With that I respectfully dissent with your opinion.

With all due respect, this is where you're wrong.

You're not a Republican, to them you're just an "illegal alien" who leeches off the American system and has NO rights.

They sure the hell don't ever want you voting for them either, they want you deported.

Exactly.

Just want to highlight the fact that the DREAM Act failed in the Senate in December 2010 by 5 votes. 5 Democratic votes.

Yes, some. But, I don't trust Romney. Tell me: why in the fuck does Romney dislike DACA? There is nothing wrong with having a LAWFUL temporary solution until a permanent one is found. It's easy for his bitch ass to say that we should wait for a permanent solution because DACA is illegal/"unconstitutional." He doesn't have to worry about getting a job and paying for fucking bills as an undocumented individual.

That being said, many of us will be getting work permits. Cool. We are fine if Romney gets elected because he can try to get immigration reform done in his first two years . . . or can he? Do you think this gutless son of a bitch can get it done in two years, especially with the GOP having so much emphasis on jobs/economy first?! Bush could not get it done, and he was more influential than Romney. Romney? hahahahaha! So, if Romney is elected, you and all of us my friend are fucked if two years go by and he does not get anything done.
