Just a thought: I feel like they'd administratively close the cases of daca applicants. Isn't that the point of prosecutorial discretion? It would be the easiest way to distinguish low priority cases.

Possibly, but it may depend on if they will allow you to reopen (this may vary by region, my attorney who has 20+ years of experience has told me that hes seen periods where they randomly reopen and randomly deny to reopen and it has NOTHING to do with the caliber of applicant).

Also, lets just say they do reopen, and you get denied because of your judge or something....then thats it. You cant ever reopen anymore because you only get one chance. Until they come out with more info on this I would be very cautious. I think the best thing to do is work, find a method of AOS like marriage and then present your case which would be much stronger....because then you'll have the AOS reason + DACA to back up your case.

No but you earlier bio people should be getting yours soon. I have to visit my officer next week. I really wished I get an approval before then. It would have made my visit much more enjoyable.

There isn't many final orders in this forum, and for those of us who do have one sent our application around late august early September. If you take a look at the approvals most of them (from Nebraska at least) send their application 8/15 or 8/16. We have to wait for another couple more weeks to possibly see an approval.

Yep, I also have an order of removal, (I choose voluntary departure).
My application was delivered today.

My case was so drawn out and complex. I've been to removal proceedings 11 times, 5 being master hearings, spanning 6 freaking years and for some unknown reason my case was reasigned to a different judge from which it started. Worst Days of My Life!!!

My mother's original lawyer screwed up royally and got us into this situation.
I really do resent that woman.
anyway, hoping to hear of someone in removal proceedings that actually got approved.

Just so you guys know, when you decide to apply for Permanent resident one way or another (marriage) you will have to motion to re-open the case and have it admin close. DACA does not take away your standing order of removal (works same way for TPS).
