On 9/28 I went for biometrics
Same day online it said they ordered production of my card.
On Oct 3rd I checked and the date had changed from 9/28 to 10/3 and today it said this
The USPS reported that they picked up mail from USCIS containing your new card on October 4, 2012. You should receive your new card within 7 days.
I hate waiting, better late then never.
