They told me it would take at most 4 months but after seeing so many getting approved within 10-15 days I got excited. But hope the approve all of us soon. For now just go on with our lives. I've waited 28 years for this I guess 1 more month won't hurt.

Date Application Sent - Sep 24th, 2012
The Lockbox the application was sent to - Dallas, TX
Mailing Method (Express, priority, certified) etc. - Priority Mail
Date delivered - Sep 26, 2012
Date acceptance letter of application received - Oct 2nd, 2012
Date of I-797 C Notice of Action (Application Approved) - Oct 5th, 2012
Date Biometrics scheduled - Oct 30th, 2012
Date of EAD received -

No one knows?

Or everyone is taking a break.... a weekend break...

This is what i think and was told once by USCIS representative. When you mail you application. first they check:

Application fee.
Documents.

then the request biomentrics exam:

If you background comes clear.
then they check if you qualify. If you do they approve ur petition if not they will request more evidence. NOW the fact that you havent heard anything from them yet doesnt me they cant request for evidence. USCIS only review your PETITION after biometrics. so lets keep our fingers cross and pray that everything we sent is enough for them to approve our application. Good Luck!

That's the same as asking how long it takes to get an approval after biometrics..
Basically.. I think on an AVG 2-3 weeks they look into ur case and make a decision.. Approval/RFE/NOID/D-word. So basically there's no 1 right answer.. Lets wait and see what Tuesday has in store for us..

Based on the applications that were approved in the month of October after the Biometrics were completed, it has resulted in the timeline being increased. Keep in mind that these wait times includes the weekends.

Vermont - 18 days
California - 9 days
Nebraska - 20 days
Texas - 16 days

The days tabulated are averages.

I don't believe you can assume that. Those that received RFEs probably would have received an approval notice that day instead if their application had been complete.

Its been 8 days for me ... sent to texas so lets see if I fit into the statistics
