I just don't wanna get married. It's the ethics behind it that makes it so wrong, I'd rather go back to my home country than get married to some random individual. (unless it's someone I genuinely like).

yeah i didnt want to get married and have my husband hold my greencard over my head with power like "you cant leave me you need me" or if we get in a fight and he yells "you just wanted me for your greencard!" so i didnt care how long i suffered illegal im not going to live with that. my bro got married with a girl he really loved and yes he got his greencard in 3 months but the girl had to do an interview if you apply within the first year to prove the love is real so i dont want to go through all that. but boyyyy you sure do get your residency super quick smh now he has in state and i have out of state tuition ha. its tempting but now i have my ead and guess what my bf said "your gonna break up with me now huh" hahaha so funny lol

This is why i think we should get married to the person we love and who loves us. So if ever in a fight you wont hear that you married them for papers. I dont want my bf to marry me because he feels bad that my life sucks and he wants to help me, but because he loves me and wants to spend the rest of his life with me. And the GC would be just a little benefit Anyway i get a lot of support from my bfs parents they are very understanding and happy that DACA happened

@ americandreamer..., so true. I totally understand. Some people tend to take advantage of you and or treat u bad when they believe they have something you need. They start to feel like they have power over u. & in not all cases but some marriages can start out nicely but people change especially when they feel u have become so dependent on them. I hate being dependent on anyone. Pulse for me education and establishing myself has always been of utmost importance first and foremost.

I know a ton of people who did that , they paid $10'000 and got their GC. But I don't have the courage to do that because you have to go to an interview and it's fake! I would have a heart attack before the interview LOL you have to be pretty brave to marry someone for papers...
