Travel from AZ to CA for DL

I am planning to travel to San Jose, CA where my aunt lives to obtain a DL. I was just going to put down my aunts address. Can I just go to Blythe, CA instead of traveling all the way to San Jose? I hate Jan brewer btw.

i believe you can, but that would raise a lot of questions seeing how Blythe is the closes thing to AZ. DMV employees aren't the best at being nice although you can come across awesome employees there. i would try it but don't mention anything about AZ.

you're lucky the EAD doesn't have an address, just get something with your aunts address and head down to the DMV, also SOCIAL.

That's a pretty good idea. Less crowded huh and its in the middle of nowhere. Hehe. I say just go to San Jose and enjoy the scenery and spend time with your aunt. Make that 2yrs count.

Just move out of that crapsula state. I was there visiting the Grand Canyon last week. It really is middle of nowhere. Even the desserts in Nevada looked better than the desserts in AZ. Jan Brewer can keep her land of dirt.

Do we need an electric bill in our name or something to prove residency in California? Idk I read that somewhere.

This is the wrong thread... But did you get the tracking info for your card?

It says on your timeline EAD for the 11TH? So they mailed it out yesterday, like you said in the other thread... I called today and the girl didn't give me info for tracking just regurgitated what was on the screen, the same thing that says on my account online...
My card was mailed today.

And good luck with the DMV... They do ask proof of residency in CA sometimes...
