Just curious....those EAD approved and waiting on SSN, have you started applying for jobs?

Excited here now that we have the opportunity to apply. I completed an application yesterday (Sunday) just for the heck of it. Got called today for an interview on Wednesday haha! Just hope they are willing to work me on the SSN hold-up if they do hire me...

Not saying that everyone has to, but we need to step up our game.

I'm a senior in college majoring in computer science and I have already had two successful interviews with two major corporations for software engineering positions. Note: The only experience I have is restaurant work.

I was also recruited by Microsoft and they are flying me out to their HQ for interviews. Flight, luxury hotel, high-end dining, concierge service, and a rental car of my choice are all paid for (but I'm taking the taxi service instead of course

Also, you do NOT need your SSN or EAD at the moment if you are going through corporate interviewing. Start NOW since it is recruitment season for those who are graduating or are looking for internships. You can just let human resources know that you are waiting on your EAD and/or SSN and they will work with you if you have been given a job offer.

Just my 2 cents I'm excited to hear about the opportunities will take when they get their EAD!

Yeah, I can see the virtue of waiting to have everything done. The temptation was too strong though haha

Awesome to hear that! Definitely stepping it up. Good luck with your interview and let us know how it went
