Give this a read, http://www.visajourney.com/content/adjudicator-q-and-a

"A word about RFE's. It was my experience that no two officers would always see eye to eye on if an RFE was required. Some officers could or would spend some more time digging around the file or a database to find the information (if they thought it could be found) and others would just as soon rip off an RFE. So it varied. Then there were some times that an RFE was required because of the situation. Again, it depends a lot on who was looking at your case and what the question was / what information was needed. No hard and fast rule."

Yup Quality over Quantity, But I did have both.

Definitely have your Packets Organized makes it very easy for the officer to check off everything that is required!

I only send 25-30 pages didn't include my high school transcript because I didn't want to wait the extra time.

My packet was about 20-25 pages but most of it was good evidence and I made sure i had something for every year. I was also told that sending to much can slow your progress.

My packet was near 500 pages, and I got my EAD approved in 3 weeks after I mailed my packet.

I represent over a hundred clients in their DACA applications. The very first one approved was about 4 inches thick had every page of every bank statement and every paystub, in addition to the regular evidence. But the next ones approved were students that had little more than their transcripts and Passport/Birth Certificates. I will say that out of the twenty I sent on 8/15, only half were approved so far, and it has already been over two weeks since the first one. So there is a lot of variability between processing times (if you consider days and weeks "a lot") even for cases mailed in the same box.
