I want to contribute to the conversation by revealing the status of my application.

Prepared and sent by me via Certified Mail: 8/17/12 - Delivered: 8/20/12
G-1145 txt & email: 8/23/12 - I-797 C received: 8/27/12
Biometric received: 8/30/12 - Biometrics done: 9/14/12 (I had no idea you could walk in)
DA Approved: "Initial review" EAD Approved: "Initial review"
Nebraska Service Center

However, I also prepared my brother's application and his was approved on 09/04/12 and his EAD was mailed on 09/08/12. We did the biometrics on the same day and his application was also handled by the Nebraska Center.

I am very anxious because my package did not include a transcript like my brother's since I had all my report cards going back to middle school. I am starting to think this might have been a mistake on my part. I'll keep you posted.

Hey my bio app.. Was for the 27th, but I did my bio on the 18th.. I guess the OP didnt carch that on my signature.

They most certainly are.
Not only with the dream applications but others as well. I wonder if there have been cuts to that branch or something.


Fun fact, the Applications receipt numbers are in sequential order so you can check the status of other people in the same time frame as you if you go up a few numbers before and after. I checked 30 prior numbers prior to mine and a few after.One AFTER mine got approved, with got his/her card and everything. Everyone else from that day still says pending.

Did everyone sign up for case status updates on uscis.gov? You can see when your file was last updated (even if you didn't get any notices). If the date is past and you haven't gotten an RFE or denial, you should be in the clear so hang tight! And Nebraska, let's get a move on!

There is a few people from CSC in the same batch that took biometrics from 9/17-9/21 and haven't been approved. I am including myself. I suggest you take your mind off of it. I am sure our time will come soon.
