I've already applied for DACA and have received my appointment for my biometrics for*October 18. Except I've recently received a UAL (underage alcohol) citation on September 29 and I'm concerned about the fact if this will influence the decision of my DACA application or show up in my background check?. I've already paid of the ticket which came to $177.00 and on the ticket it said that I did not have to appear in court and that is was my first off. I would like to get anybody's opinion on this matter!

I hate to be mean but i have to this time. If you sent your DACA app why in hell are you drinking when you are underage? You have to be one of the most stupid people out there.

drinking underage isn't supposed to affect your DACA app. I have this on my record, but it happened over 7 years ago...I don't know how they will look at it if it happened while your app is pending...they may be like "well this happened a long time ago (my case) and they probably learned their lesson since this was the only time they got in trouble so we will approve them"(I hope), but in your case may be like "well they are currently breaking laws so we will decide not to approve them"....who knows. but yeah go see a lawyer bcuz this is just IMO.
if anyone else is underage and applying for DACA, I would suggest that you stop drinking.... lol.

Damn dude. I would understand getting a no driver's license ticket for having to drive to college or something even after you applied for DACA. But for a MIP (Minor In Possession)? Come on...I guess you don't want it that bad huh?

Okay so I understand it was clearly stupid of me and the rest of us (friends) to be doing dumb stuff but thanks to everyone for the opinions and I already talked to a lawyer and to those who had good hope , she said it wont affect me in anyway and that the application process will go on like any other. Again thanks everyone!
