-Someone recommended I put this post here instead?-

Most of your posts have been of great help. I've sat through 3 hours trying to make use of your comments and replies. I've been trying to gather as much information as possible for my forms. I have a few questions that I feel I could use some help with.

It says somewhere that they would prefer the money orders/ checks sent apart (one for the I-765 and one for biometrics ).. I see most people don't, however. Is it recommendable?

Another question I have is, due to time management (I am a full time high school student) I have not been able to gather a passport. I do have a high school ID with a picture (just got it as of August 2012) and copy of a birth certificate (not translated). Do you guys recommend me getting a passport? Also the 2x2 pictures reflect my School ID pictures so maybe this could be a safe?

Thanks for any help I may receive!

It's always a good idea to have a passport, so apply for one asap. If you are anxious to send your app.. soon, then translate your birthcertificate and send that along with any other ID's you might have. Otherwise, wait for your passport.

As for the money order, just send one(easy enough) but it doesn't really matter what you do

for now im just gonna send my application with just my school ID and then file for the passport on the side. I can't really waste time now since I'm applying for colleges soon.
