i think the majority who are getting approved r the ones who sent their applications back in august.
its only been 30 days since they have received mine, with uscis talking about slowing down on approvals, now all it matters is the priority date and the 3-6 months time frame, so approve me whenever u reach my case am not in a rush, if i handled waiting 7 years with no papers, their time frame process is like a time machine to me. but what gets on my nerves and anxiety and makes me wonder why am i not approved yet is seeing massive people getting approved in your same time line, u feel happy for them and inside u r burning fire, and you start feeling negative, swing moods, and whats the worst case scenario maybe getting an RFE, and this happens to most of us.
good luck to everyone

I got approved today, my application also went to the California service center. I actually sent mine after you, on the 18th. I did my bios on the 1st. I'm sure you should be getting approved soon!

Hey guys! Tomorrow will be 30 days since my biometrics appointment and still nothing from Vermont...I was looking through the USCIS website where they talk about travel and continuous presence...I entered in 1999 and in 2006 I traveled back to my home country and stayed for about 3 months...On the application it only asks you to list absences since June 16th, 2007...therefore I left that section blank....but I think somewhere else it asks when your last entry was and I put the day I came back in 2006.... On the website now says that any travel before Aug. 15, 2012 if it was extended (open to interpretations on how long is considered extended) it would affect your DACA...but on the application itself it only asks about before 2007! I'm just wondering what your thoughts are on this cause I'm a little confused....

hahhaha....i dont mean to be rude by laughing at your question but...there is like about 6,000 people asking the same thing right about now including me...

nobody knows why they do that. like somebody said it before i could be just luck..
we have been trying to figure it out by counting the app dates, biometric dates but none of them make sense.

and to answer your question.....i guess nobody knows why they skipping.

I have a feeling that all bios for the month of September will be either approved/RFE or the D word by the end of this month. It only makes sense if they give us answered because all the September bioss are people that applied in Agoust. Hang in the guys we will get answered soon!

So.....Taking this quote, if credible and factual

'U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services said Friday about 180,000 people have applied for the administration’s Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program announced this summer. As of Wednesday, 4,591 applications had been approved. Those people will also get permission to work.

To date, no applications have been rejected but Homeland Security officials said it could take at least two months after an application is received for it to be declined. If more information is need from an applicant, the process could take even longer.

The government started accepting applications on Aug. 15 and it had been expected that final decisions could take several months. DHS has said the time to approve applications is expected to slow in coming months.'"

Alright, in the last 42 working days since they opened the windows for DACA, they have approved 4,591. Now, they didn't approve apps on the very first day, applicants had to go through biometrics so technically they have approved this many apps in a period of time of about 28 days (earliest bio appointments started on Sep. 5, 2012, as far as I know). So on a daily basis, excluding weekends, USCIS green lights approx. 164 apps per day. Again, if the information provided is reliable, you can estimate how long it could take to push out all 180,000 apps. At this pace, by the end of November, 5,576 more apps will be approved; thus, 10,167 apps total from Aug to November, that is a little over 5% of all apps received. This sounds like torture =/ or a reality check to pick up the pace.

So the question still remains, when will my app be approved? My assumption is that the FBI review of fingerprints might take longer for some, not because of criminal history but for whatever unknown reason. And biometric walk-ins have added a bigger work load than expected, because while some attended their designated date, others showed up earlier so in that period of time it has accumulated more fingerprints to match against the government's database. Is there good news? I think so. My brother and his friend tried visiting USCIS 20 days prior their fingerprints appointment, they wouldn't let them. This happened in California so if the same is true for other states, maybe the pace will pick up pretty soon.

I too visit this forum to witness the way this program is bringing us hope. I hate waiting and patience doesn't come easy, but we have to remain calm and have faith that USCIS will carry out this project as promised. Stay positive and carry on with your life!

I talked to someone that has experience, and he says that could be many things. If you are under 21 could be easier and faster to get approved. If you were stop by a police and you got your finger prints taken, that makes the process longer.
he also said that when they do your background check and they find something small that all makes the process longer.
If you were stopped by a police for not driven with not valid DL and you took care of the ticket you should have any problem getting approved.

We have to keep waiting.
