Approved but No EAD card

hi all "Approved but No EAD card " let's share info here.

My online status for I765 on 10/01 at 4:00 showed "card in production"
at around 5:30 it moved back to "post decision activity" and 821 showed "approved"

I rcvd both approval notices in the mail on 10/05 and I765 struck on "post decision " till now.

I did called USCIS on 10/11 was informed that card never went into production call back after 7 days.

I find few more members in the forum with same issue. so thought of making a thread were we can keep a track of it.
please share your info here with following details.

Date approved : 10/01
I765 online status: "post decision"
Approval notice rcvd in mail : 10/05
Called USCIS : yes 10/11

PS "NOT FOR MEMBERS WITH USPS PROBLEMS"

i'm on this boat! everything is posted in my timeline. i called USCIS they said i have to wait 30 days before calling back. that's BS!!! what do you press whn you make the phone calls?

Mine is exactly the same . got approved on 10/01 never went into production. Stuck in PDA .

Called USCIS and they asked me to wait 30 days. Seriously ? there's nothing we can do about it.
What do i do with the approval notice. they dont even let people work with approval notice.

Did you guys file out form i765 ws? Did you write in the "provide more detail" part your need for employment? What is the complexity of your case overall.

I would like to ask a question about working eligibility.
Given that you have a SSN already and approved, but no EAD card, can you work legally? i.e.can you pass E -verification?

i spammed the phone line today just to find out WTF is going on with my case. After getting tons of BS and got hung up by the representative (transferred me back to the menu), my call got picked up by one nice representative, who finally put an inquiry on my case!!!!!!

I think im gonna keep calling them tomorrow until they put inquiry on my case .
Looks like who ever got approved on 10/1 got stuck in PDA. Stupid production unit !!!!

@teddyk - you cannot work just with the approval notice. it says that it can not be used as a proof of employment authorization .

@choukette - i dont think there is any complexity in the case. its approved but not produced/mailed out yet !
