so EAD is only form of photo identification u needed? congrats on ur DL and ID! didn't think about the ID but you r right..best safe than sorry! haha now i really need to go practice my parallel parking lol

EAD card, SS card, and two proof of residence (they would not accept paystubs as it did not contain address with name).
Anyway, I reckon it is only a matter of time before GA follows Arizona and other restrictionist states in banning state issued privileges and prerogatives, hence better sooner than later.

And yes, you should be allowed to go ahead and take the road test towards class C (permit) if you are above the age of 18.
Of course, if you prefer, you may ask to take your written (i.e. multiple choice) test for a learners first and come back later to take road test, should you need extra preparation, in which case they will issue you a CP class license.
