Don't be sad, it won't help. Look when I got the RFE notification I literally felt like my world was falling apart. But then I calmed down. I also started collecting evidence right away, but to my surprise the RFE was not what I tought it was going to be. I originally sent only 1 piece of paper for the whole 2009 year (Bealls credit card letter) and for the 2010 I sent them a printout from my cellphone company which clearly says line activated on 2010, a life insurance policy for 2010 and debit card printout with card activation of February 2010. Well to my surprise my RFE was not for 2009 as I tought. It was for 2010. I just printed out the bank statements from •February to June, September & December.
•Car insurance policy for October 2010...hopefully that is enough, and I thank god my RFE was for that year because in 2009 I literally didn't even have a phone under my name. GOD WORKS IN MYSTERIOUS WAYS.

Why is my application taking longer than others?

There are others who are still waiting. My sister has the same timeline and is still waiting for approval.

Well i dont know if this is the main problem or not, but when i sent my application i sent it without any government issued ID, as i dont have one of course. I dont even have my school ID's since i lost my wallet five months ago.The only thing that i sent with my picture was my school transcript. Getting a passport was a pain in the behind and i sent my application just like that, but i finally obtained one 4 days before biometrics. Im hoping thats the only problem as i already have a passport. My packet has a copy of my birth certificate, a translated one, report cards from 2004, 2005,2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010. I dropped out of high school in 2010, long story, so please dont judge. I had my reasons or else i wouldnt be living here in this country. but now im back in school as of this year. i also send them my transcripts, and it shows there that i re-enter school on August 15, 2012, so for 2011 & 2012, i sent them all my cellphone bills as they're under my name, i send my gym membership bills from 2009-2012. i also send them my orthodontics bills from 2011-2012 (up-to date) I also send them a payment i made on june 15th, . I dont know what it could be?

Your time will come too. It will happen when its suppose to happen. just have faith

yeah im trying to stay positive. For now im at work and im trying not to let it get to me lol. I just wish there was a faster way to know what they really need instead of mail, they should send emails with what they need but oh well this is how the system works. Well lets stay positive and see what happens. There's a reason for everything... so good luck! keep us updated. i know this RFE is going to delay my case but ive waited for this moment for 8 years, i can wait another month or so.. cheers!

you look all right with evidences, maybe you should be enrolled in school before the june15, other than that u look all set, except for the years 2011-2012, witch i have the same issue with, i didnt send not even one proof of me in the last couple years, so i got all my electronic internet bills for the last 7 months, i got gym membership and contract in new york sports club in 2011, new york fitness contract receipt for 2012, itin for 2010, facebook checkins since december 2011, i also have criminal court paid fine ticket in 2009, am sending that one too.

Has the vermont service center been sleeping ? i havnt heard of vermont service center approvals for a while now

Well actually i re-enrolled in school on August 6th, it was a monday, and on my transcript it shows re-entry August 6th, i started school on August 15th, which it was on the same day the applications were available online... thats what i meant sorry oops. I dont have any criminal record. never been deported or stop by police or done anything illegal. And yes im afraid it could be either that, or maybe the government issued ID? who knows. i hope thats the only thing so if thats the case, as soon as i get the RFE ill send them a copy of my passport, but for now ill be collecting more evidence. I have Facebook and im always checking in into places and everything, in case they need more proof, ill send them copies of it and other things.... thank you. (:
