The current wars have nothing to do with defense and are simply imperialist actions. Soldiers may not control the actions of politicians, but they do control their own. There has to be a level of ignorance of behalf of recruits to willingly enlist now knowing you'll be shipped out to kill civilians or at best people trying to defend themselves. I strongly discourage anyone here from pursuing the military unless they want to become part of a grand murder.

Not desperate here but I am considering it, maybe learn something there like engineer for airplane airframe, or mechanic and come home and try to land a job in that field working for an Airline company or so.
