Yeah that's another reason why I didn't think not bringing it would be a problem. And my lawyer said the same thing so WHEW! I just start thinking too much and get paranoid. Thank you though!!

Omg you're kidding! Why?? Yes! I just walked in, gave them the notice, joked a little with the guard, filled out some forms, then got called by number and processed. I did have a little problem while getting my prints, apparently I'm weird and have hidden prints... The lady had to put Vaseline on my fingers after making me rub them together lol. But yes its all done

What time did you go to?

I was there about 2pm and the woman at the front desk said I was too early (appt at Nov 1st) and they don't usually do that. Said come back around 3pm, which I did. And still weren't allowed.

WTF

Finally took my biometrics! I was late 30 mins for my appointment but it didnt even matter because the place was empty COMPLETELY empty...

I swear, the people at this office(Broadway) are EXTREMELY rude...I'm not even done walking in the office when this crazy lady is screaming at me to have my letter open and ID ready before I get in the line??? seriously??? there's no one there but me...

I should point out I tried to do a walk in last week and this same lady turned me away but today because she's too busy conversating with a fellow co-worker she doesn't even check my appointment date or time, she just stamps my sheet and tells me to sit down and wait for my number to be called. So again, why the hell couldn't I walk in last week...I guess today she is too busy talking to care...whateve! I lie, the guy that took my prints was actually nice, too bad for the people that came after me because he told me, "ok after Im done with you, Im taking a break

So being the only person in the room, the guy that took my prints was waiting for me to finish filling out the sheet they gave me. All in all it literally took me probably 5-7 mins....but so glad that all I have to do now is wait for their decision.....

Anyone that has gotten approved, how long has it taken you to get a SSN to get an ID?? My family is going to florida in December and I'm hoping I'll have a state ID by then to travel and avoid being pull aside for questioning by TSA because of my matricula???

I just came back from FL(key largo) and I only have my foreign passport. Did not have any problems with TSA and SSC will usually take 2 weeks...

You can travel with your passport, it will most likely take a while to do all of that, specially if you are just getting your biometrics, I took the biometrics almost a month ago, still waiting.

When I went, there was no lady, and the guys that work there where actually pretty cool, the guy that took my prints had a good sense of humor.

Brother and friend went Tuesday around 2 pm and no one even checked the date on the letter. It took about 40 minutes because it was kinda busy. But I went again today and took my sisters and the whole process took 15 minutes. Brother and sisters had their appointment for the 22nd of this month. Friend had it for the 31st. Norridge doesn't check the date at all
