Wasn't aware of this, do you think the lady I asked didn't know about this , she was from admissions & record so what's with her?

It's likely she didn't know. Got to consider that DACA and the subsequent MCC announcement are still pretty new developments so things are being sorted out. Plus, she works for one specific college not the whole MCC organization so maybe the procedure hasn't trickled down yet

To be quite honest, I would have to check it out. Like you, this aspect hasn't been on the forefront at the moment

You're probably right, soon they'll have DACA students though and they'll take care of them.

I applied today for one in Ks, well actually I had to rewew since it expired back in 09, and I waited like an idiot for almost 2 hours just to be told that I needed to mail/email this form called SAVE ( www.ksrevenue.org/pdf/SAVE.pdf ) to Topeka, KS and then i need to bring the letter of confirmation from them and then come apply for my renewal. I was a little disappointed since i wasn't told of this by the DMV people when i called them twice 2 days ago but oh well. So I went home scanned my EAD and filled out the form and i sent them the email with the pics attached. I got a replied an hour later with the letter that i have to take to the DMV and it says that my dl should expire in 2 years just like my EAD. so off to the dmv tomorrow hope i pass the written and driving test again.

I was actually looking into this last night, and it seems that we are supposed to check "Legal Nonimigrant" and fill-in the information about our EAD (i-766) on that category. It might be questionable having to check that box, but base on this (http://www.maricopa.edu/residency/docs.php), and the form as it is currently printed, it seems that it's the only option we have.

Hopefully they update the form itself tho. We may get more info about this in the coming months when all the DACA students start filling it up.

By the way....do you guys think we're eligible for international DL with the EAD?
That's another option to look into instead of going to another state.
