Hello I have a questions regarding work permit and Driver licence.
I recently noticed the new DL approval in CA for dream act student. I was worry at first because in some newspaper; it said that you should wait for a proper paper works.
Here my question.
Where do you summit your document in CA, LA?
What documents do you need for applying?
My basic info.
I came here when I was 15 about to turn 16 in 2007(about 5-6 years).
I live in CA LA.
I graduated from high school here, and current study at community collage.( Thank to dram act I don't have to pay extra tuition fee!)

Thank you for your time answering my question.

You don't have to wait for new DL law you can get a DL regardless of the law. I just got my driving permit today and only need work permit and SSN. As to where to submit the DACA application go to www.uscis.gov and follow instructions under Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals.

Thank you for your answering! Well the problem is I don't know where I can get my work permit and SSN.
I was worrying because I came here to the Unite State July 20 2007. Am I eligible for this?

thank you again for your time

Unfortunately you don't qualify because you have to prove continous presence from June 15, 2007 to June 15, 2012. Don't even bother applying because you will be wasting money and will get a request for evidence where you have to prove before July 20, 2007 and since you don't have documents will get denied. Hopefully they pass the Dream Act and include applicants that were left out. Don't lose hope! Stay strong. You can verify here: http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/usc...00082ca60aRCRD

Don't feel bad about yourself because a lot of dreamers were left out as well. Just continue being good and try to stay in school, the dream act will pass soon surely. Try reading about the new DL law because I am sure there will be a loop hole about people who couldn't prove all requirements of DACA.

Thank you for your encouragement! I will try my best to stay strong. It just that I have a difficulty tell my parents about this bad news. Sigh! They were extremely happy when they heard the news... Once again I have disappointing their expectation.

No problem, I know what you mean about disappointing one's parents. Stay strong just keep living your life like nothing happened and some day you will be rewarded. I have been in this country for 15 years now and definitely know all the struggles of been illegally in the USA. Just before deferred action was even announced I was really depressed and was seriously considering going back to my country. I didn't and what do you know something random like deferred action happened. Again just keep doing what your doing and some day something good will happen.
