Card Mailed today - Page 3

how do you know when it was mailed i ask this because i was approved this Wednesday

yup, gotta get my job and my license. we'll see when my EAD comes in.

and to everyone who is still waiting. i was just there a few hrs ago. checking multiple times a day. I was sure I'd get an RFE and afraid i'd even get a NOID. i had a not so clean juvenile record--just a couple minor things nothing significant--won't go into details. but i still got approved.

I applied for my SSN on the 8th day. My EAD was approved 10/08/2012 and I applied for SSN 10/16/2012. Everything worked out fine and I already made an ID and I took my DL test

Hey those applying for licenses I have a question: i see that you get a permit before the driving test is that an actual card or a printout, and I ask because I remember my sister getting her license mailed out to her since she wasn't a citizen, and this in MO by the way, TIA

I think it might depend on the state. The permit you get in CA is just a couple of papers with your picture on the back. When you pass the behind the wheel test they send you the actual DL.

i didn't have anything that serious. were those misdemeanors?

Check your status online. It tells you when thy mail it...
Then you can call them and get a tracking number (if you want to track your card)

Instead of bit**ing about what people ask just leave the forum and problem solved!
