I just got THE text,,,, I got approved for the I-765 I'm a 21 year old man and Im not affraid to say it but this brought tears to my eyes...I've been living here in the states since I was 11 and I consider it my home. Ever since I got out of high school I've been working low paying jobs and depending greatly on the support of my parents just to pay for college. I went to the University of North Texas for about 3 years but since my dad recently lost his job due to being undocumented I had to leave UNT and settle for community college... The point is that I've been trying to get my economics degree for about 4 years now and I'm barely halfway there, not because lack of effort but because I couldn't afford to be in school full time. I'm trully grateful to this country for giving me and a lot of others like me this opportunity to move on with our lifes ... Now I can help my parents out and return just a little bit of all that they have done for me. Thank all of you guys for keeping me sane throughout this process, and good luck to those waiting approval, your time will come. My timeline looks like this: Service Center: Nebraska App Sent: August 28th App Received: August 29th Biometrics Done: September 20th Approval: October 19th LIN #: LIN12908739xx Also, I don't have any serious criminal history, but in total I have 5 traffic tickets, most for no driver's license. I'm an EWI, and I filled the app by myself.. Any questions just ask, I will gladly try to help you guys just as much as you have helped me. |

Congrats on getting approved! I also go to UNT!
I was wondering when you got your biometrics done what I.D. did you use?
