A text message (87247) notification from USCIS

Hey guys I received a text message from USCIS saying they have received my application and I got a recipe number (LIN##########) for it but for some reason nothing showed up when I tried to look it up on the USCIS.gov's case status. Is this normal?

Normal. You will be able to see it once you receive the letter in the mail.

Yes it's normal. Their system is very glitchy. Same thing happened to my cousin.
