Here's the link to the official statistics for the DACA Process. I wish we had a breakout of states, service center, etc.
Data represents period August 15 - October 10, 2012.
4,591-Approved
6,416-Under review.

Peter Boogaard, a spokesman for U.S. Department of Homeland Security, released a statement regarding the latest numbers:

Following a 60-day implementation period, on August 15 USCIS initiated the process for individuals to request deferred action for childhood arrivals and began receiving requests and supporting documentation from the public. On September 12, USCIS began issuing its first decisions on deferred action for childhood arrivals requests based on a thorough case-by-case review.

USCIS will review deferred action for childhood arrivals requests for a possible exercise of prosecutorial discretion, consistent with its longstanding quality control procedures and commitment to upholding the integrity of the immigration system. Biometric and biographic information collection and background checks must be completed before a request will be reviewed by an USCIS official.

Although USCIS has begun notifying some individuals of a decision on their request, it is expected that the average length of time to process a request will be between four and six months. As this process is in its initial stages, USCIS will continue to provide regular updates on the deferred action for childhood arrivals process on a monthly basis.

What? how does a letter that says you need more evidence mean the same as denied in a way? you are completely wrong.
I received a letter for more evidence and send it back. I have already been approved, as have many others that also received the letter.
So, until you case is closed and DENIED, there is no such thing as "the same category as denied"

APPLICATION SENT: Not sure (Lawyer) $3000k
SERVICE CENTER: California
APPLICATION RECEIVED: 9/4
BIOMETRICS APPOINTMENT: 9-28 (Modesto CA)
WALK IN: 9-21 (Oakland CA)

STILL IN INITIAL REVIEW.

This said, i submitted a binder worth of proof of my U.S. presence (I-94, plane ticket, transcripts from elementary to college, pay stubs, social, drivers lic., rental agreements, credit cards statements, bank statements... ). I have also been registered with the state of CA over the last few years for my job thus biometrics every year blah blah. Being in the review still I'm starting to think i might have got screwed.

And some might ask why pay a lawyer 3k, cause i told him if he fucked this up like my last one id throw him out his high rise building window. He understood and shook my hand.

Good Luck to all those still waiting, and congrats to those who have officially started their lives
