Go to a postal service and you they have the selective service forms. You can't do it online unless you have a social security number.

When you apply for your dl you will be automatically register with sss, you cant even check NO on that one, its at the bottom of the page on the application.

Do you guys know if we can get a driving permit in texas while we wait for our ss# and apply for the actual DL?

They didn't let me apply for anything till I was able to bring in my SSN. I got a printout of the SSN number the day after it was assigned to me and took it to DMV. However, I am 26 yrs old so I just need to take the test and no classes. I don't know if you can apply to take any drivers Ed class without SSN. If so, do that as you wait for SSN.

I took my written test and road test and passed both. Just have to wait for like a month to get my DL and ID cards in the mail. I have a printed copy that I carry around in the meantime.

Does your printed copy say "Limited Term" ?

I'm 25, are they going to issued me a permit first? This will be my first time getting a license. I hope not because I'm applying for some jobs were a license is a must.

I don't think so bro, You'll just have to take the test and then you'll get a receipt which will be your license until you get the real one in the mail in like 2 weeks. The 6hr course is for people 18-21. But 25+ just take the test at the dmv.

Yea, i already did the online course. I should be getting my completion certificate in the mail this week.
