Crazy, huh? It was difficult, hard, agonizing....simple things made hard. I'm sure the same goes for all of us, and all of you on the forum can understand me more than anyone, even my own family or even close friends. Close friends may know, and they may symphatize, but they don't really know how hard it is. With family, I don't know if anyone feels the same, they are older and they are pretty settled on who they are, so for them, their dream of getting legalized is about getting a better job. But for the younger generation, it's about clubbing, traveling, driving, having fun, going to school, having a dream, ordering a drink at a bar, getting a credit card, ordering phone service, opening a Kohls charge account, your WHOLE life is on hold. We are the DACA Generation, as someone on this forum previously called us, and I feel that I know all of you, and that this experience binds us together. With that said, as painful as it was, especially in my early 20's, I wouldn't change a single thing about the experiences I had growing up undocumented. More than anything, I am proud that I kept my faith and kept my head above water.

samething with me, except i ran around asking organizations and lawyers about the age limit and had mix answers. I did that thru end of july and things didnt look good. One org said to wait til Aug 15 to see if any updates were added, so when the Aug 3 update in the USCIS site poped up i was so happy! best news of my life.
