Typo error b***s***!! - Page 2

Take into consideration i just received all this stuff and i called it in today she told me if i don't hear anything from them in 5 days to call them again and idk what she meant by it maybe she just said it to make me feel more at ease. But they are probably going to ask me to do the same as you to write a letter but she did tell me i will have to mail them EAD i received.

Ok so I called again today to get the overnight mail adress for the Nebraska Service Center. They told me a complete different story this time.

I made an InfoPass appointment to speak face to face with someone about this irritating issue... I would suggest you do that same :s

ahhhh the nightmare never ends i will preobably have to do the same but i am gonna wait till this friday and if they don't send me anything by then i will get an infopass to go in next week hopefully

Same thing happened to me they told me to wait 15 days to expedite my case they didn't tell me to send anything back

I recommend you make an InfoPass appointment for a day after the 15 days because in my case, they tell me a different story every time I called.

First they told me to send back my card with a cover letter explaining the error and to expedite my case.

Second time they told me I have to send my card back to the service center with a copy of the service request respond which I never received. They could fax it it to me but I don't have a fax machine and told them I would call back tomorrow once I get a fax machine available.

Third time I called to get the service request respond faxed over they told me they can't fax anything to me and that I must file a new I-765 application, along with my EAD, and a cover letter saying my card has an error on it and they have to fix it for free.


I'm done playing games with them and I'm going to go to an InfoPass appointment in 2 weeks to get this bullshit done with :/

While I don't have a typo error on mine, on my EAD under Country of birth it says: unknown. I gave them a call today and they also said they'd get in contact with me within 15 days.

I'm going to go ahead and try to get a ssn with my current card. I wonder if it would be an issue if I tried to leave it like that. Tried googling to see if this was common, but there weren't many reported similar instances.

Its gonna be such a hassle if I'm required to send my card and a bunch of evidence back. I wonder if employers would even care about such a thing.

I was gonna call them today because today's the 16th, but now I think Imma make an infopass appointment too.

I just want to cry in frutration ughhhhhh doesn't seem like they give a shit i called this morning you have to wait the five days but i can tell you that nso one has sent you a letter concerning the error they say it so calmly too like shit is only MY life they are fucking over not. theirs ughhhhh

Lets vent!

I got approved on Sep. 27th, card is confirmed delivered to my address on Oct 4th. I never get the card. The tracking shows it was delivered. I call Usps, they can't do anything. Call USCIS, they say wait a month. I do a service request and I havent heard from USCIS. I make an info-pass appointment (went on Oct 22) and they tell me I have to re-file for a replacement. I ask if I still gotta pay the $380, they say yes since it wasn't their fault it was lost because they got receipt of delivery.

I re-sent the application along with the check and it was delivered today Oct 23rd now I'm waiting to see how long it takes. They give you the standard window of 4-6 months. Also, I went to SSA to explain my situation and hopefully get a number and they kindly turned me down.

Side notes:
I filed a complaint with Consumer Affairs against my post office/post master in hopes of getting reinbursed. They will investigate.
I filed a fraud/theft case with the Federal Inspector agency that handles mail fraud and they will investigate.

Now I'm all anxious it will happen all over again when they send me the new on . Not a good feeling.

Oh my god. This is the worst mess I've read yet. Scares me. I really hope all ends well.
