I hate people like that. They just want to be mean to be mean. Ugh. They shouldn't have a job that has them interact with people on a daily basis when they don't know how or just don't want to be friendly. But I'm glad she ended up allowing you to apply. Still. What a jerk. :/

Booked into December? Holy crap... Have you just recently started driving? I feel like I would be more afraid driving alone with a permit (since you can't do that) than driving without a license, period. If you get pulled over with a permit, I think they might revoke it. That would really suck, especially since it's the first time we actually have the chance to get a DL.

Well for the appointments you can make online it only shows open days until December. I'm pretty sure they have something before when you make the appointment in person. No, I've been driving since I was 16, I got my license at 18 and it expired two years ago when I turned 25, but according to the rules if my DL expired over two years ago I have to apply for an original license and take the computer and road tests all over :\ I've been driving with my expired license... and I'm just gonna carry the receipt they gave me at the DMV with the appointment date. I'm just trying to figure out how to take the road test before so I don't have to miss work if I do get a job by then
