When i read your post, i teared for a second because i shared the same story as yours. My friends, colleagues, and ppl around me were asking what do you do now with your B.S.? i could only lie... What made things even worse was that i was in pre-med program with bunch of friends and after everyone's application to Med-school, i was the only left postponing my application. When they asked why aren't you applying, i had to lie about my financial difficulty rendering me unable to apply, just yet. I was and still am sick of lying about my life and lying about what i could never do without the green card. I was very close to self-deport so i can at least get my life back. Well, these things happened before DACA was announced. Now, with the EAD, i can at least ease my mind a bit more than 1 year ago when i just finished college. Preserver! you are not alone, we are not alone. There will be light tomorrow.
