Just went to apply for drivers license and make an appointment for road test; while I was there, they looked at my EAD but never mentioned anything about deferred action or Limited Term, etc. How do you know if they will limit your license or not, do they tell you there?

BTW, went to Texas DPS.

They will not tell you on the spot, and it is all based on who sees your card and at which DMV you went to.

If the person who was assisting you saw (c33) on the card and knew what it was and also recognized the 2 year length on your card, then there is a possibility that you might receive the 2 year DL.

However, if the person just quickly glanced at your name to show that you are here in the US legally, you might receive the regular 5 year DL (not sure if that's also the length in Texas).

Anyways, you've applied for a legal DL!

Congrats
