Hey guys congrats on the new approvals. I hate to ask this question but are any of you in fear of what's going to happen if Romney wins?? I mean so many ppl are making such drastic positive changes to their lives in response to the whole DACA process but Mitt already said he's gonna end it. Then we'll be in the situation we were in just months ago. And I know it's gonna hurt even more cuz we ha a taste of the good life but it gets yanked away.

We have almost the same time line.. and i haven't see any "approvals" or "initial reviews" with receipt numbers starting with 139... but then again not everyone is register on this forum.

....... And your application was send to Cali, so you should get approve soon. California center approves people faster then Vermont.

No, I am not at all scared of what will happen IF Romney wins and that's a big IF. Simply because we have the numbers in every sense of the word. We have the entire immigrant population behind us. Our Dream leaders are incredible. They won't let him bring us down I'm sure. Plus personally I'll have two years to find a citizen/PR chick to get married to. The rest would be history.

He said he would end DACA, but he also said a lot of things such as ending Poverty and Decreasing Debt, so...chances are he might not even do it. Still, even if he does, he mentioned he would honor those applications approved. By the time he becomes President and makes that order to end it, everyone who has submitted applications should have been approved.
If you are referring to not being able to renew it in 2 years...IDK. A lot of things may happen in 2 years. Maybe we should just plan on working as much as possible to save money during those 2 years (if he is elected and ends it), establish good credit history with the SS number, finish any degree that could be used outside of the US, etc.
I know of someone that got so frustrated with the system not having the possibility to adjust status that she did just that. She lived a very simple life for over a year, working and saving as much as possible, plus she acquired good quality assets for her house. Then she paid for a truck with a huge trailer to move the entire inside of her house plus a small sedan car all the way down to Brazil. I think she paid about 10k between gas, truck, and permits. If she had taken the money and tried to buy the stuff down there, 10k would not have covered HALF the car she moved. With her savings, she bought a small home with a huge yard in the countryside where crime is low and now she is just working to maintain what she already has. Again, this is just one of the worse case scenarios, if we definitely had to move, but remember, we have a 50% chance Obama will win again and even if Romney wins, he might have a change of heart.

but people who entered with out inspection can't go that route. Even if married the process would most likely get them deported unless they can prove "extreme hardship" to a dependent.

Also I believe this process states this is not an adjustment of legal status and you are not able to obtain / change to legan status - this is a temp deferral of removal action

The only thing that will benefit ALL of us is the Dream act becoming a law.

Well Dream Act as it is would never pass under a GOP administration. I would expect something by the lines of a Guest Worker Program under them. They would make the requirements very strict.
