So I got rejected at the SSA @ South Dekalb Mall today -_-

I had my EAD, Birth Certificate, Expired Passport, and valid school ID .., going to try my luck @ the Norcross office....

I had no problem at the location in norcross. my SSC arrived today actually (exactly 7 days). you'll be fine!! GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!

Got my Georgia class C license today! made a 93 on my test!!! HECK YEAH!!!! now i can drive around all the time (even though i did that before LMAO)

and by the way the DMV in my county did ask for a freaking VALID UNEXPIRED passport (those racist MFs) but went to a neighboring county and they didnt even know what a passport was?!?!?! haha jk but they didnt ask me for one they said they would just take my work permit

Does anybody know if in Georgia you can get a class c license if your 17 and 1/2?

Congrats! Hope to get my EAD on mon and my DL on tuesday! My license has been expired for 4yrs so i have to take everthing over but oh well. I got my first license 9 years ago at the age of 17 and it took me 3 tries on the driving test lol. I shouldn't have that problem now though lol.

Got my actual DL in the mail today. It looks like everyone else's except that it says limited term driver's license on it but it's not too noticeable. And it has a star in a circle but idk if that's on everyone's.

It says that? Aw what a bummer. So I'm guessing it's a 2 yr licence? What about ur ID?(if u applied for one) when does that expire? But oh well still good news. Congratz on ur DL and ur new job.. Good luck

Yea just 2 years it expires a day before I got approved so 10/3/2014 and idk about an expired passport I just gave them mine which isn't expired. I didn't apply for an ID but I probably should have merp

I am an Indian and have an expired passport. I went to the DDS Office in Marietta, GA and I tried to apply for a Learner's Permit. He said my passport has expired and that I need to renew it. I am planning to go to the Indian Embassy in Atlanta on Monday, but it looks like they changed their policies, now saying:

No consular services are permissible to refugees or their dependents or to those who left India illegally.

I don't know what to do if they will not renew my passport.

These are the Forms of Identification I have:

Expired Passport
New Mexico ID, Expires in 2017
School ID
Work EAD
Birth Certificate
Social Security

Are there any DMV Branches in GA (preferably close to Atlanta) that will allow me to get a Learner's Permit without an Expired Passport?
