I got my CA ID today!!! The expiration date is 5 years Wow it feels so...surreal. To celebrate, my girlfriend and I are going to a restaurant in a few hours and I am going to order my first beer. When I am asked to present my ID, I will do so with a smile and I know it will be a good feeling.
Next step is to acquire a drivers license. I've basically never driven before, but I have asked some friends and family for advice. They basically told me they were nervous at first, but after a while it becomes quite easy "like walking down the street" as my friend put it
