Hey guys, sorry I didn't answer sooner but here is my update.
I went to the DMV in Wethersfield last Wednesday to take my knowledge test for the DL. I presented the SSN CARD signed, passport, employment card, the 8-hour safe driving certificate and 2 proofs of address with dates on them. After that I was called for the test, passed it and they gave me an appointment for the Nov. 16 for the driving part of the test. So I'm not sure if this means that everything went smoothly and there is no problem with getting your DL. Because I still need to pass the driving part and get my license that's when I'll be sure that it went with no problems
