Here's what I took:
- Employment Authorization Card
- Social Security Card (my brother took a print-out and that was okay too)
- Approval letter from USCIS
- Bank statement
- Certification of Completion for an online driving course
Oh and my brother also took his selective service card with him

When you said you got your permit today, you mean that temporary paper they give you, right? Still waiting on the real thing?
