I have to ask is there a way to get around the behind the wheel requirement to take a licensed driver over 25 with you?

I don't know anyone over 25 with a license, what do people do? are there people who get payed for going in with you?


should of read pages before before asking, im not the only one with the problem.. still anyone know what can be done?

Ok so excuse me for asking this... But from what ive been reading I cant drive there bymyself? Confusing because I remember my mom went in by herself for the driving test so did my dad. So why would somebody have to go with you if you have a temporary license already? Please explain this to me, anybody.

Because legally, since you only have a driving permit, you are not supposed to drive alone. The driving permit clearly tells u that u must be accompanied by a licensed driver at all times. Since you can't legally drive alone, than it is illegal to drive to the DMV on your onw as well.

You MUST take someone with a valid DL to your behind the wheel test...
They WILL check his/her DL... Also the registrations and Insurance

I couldn't find anyone to go with me either So I got a driving school instructor to go with me. Never had had driving classes or anything but they have packages just for the test. He picked me up, we did a pretest for an hour covering everything that was expected of me and would come up during the test. We went to the DMV I took my test and he brought me back home. Helped me tons actually, very well worth the $99 it cost.

My behind the wheel is today at 9am. Kinda nervous!
