I believe the people who live in Cali got a 4 year+ Driver's License. Maybe Florida and Illinois as well.

Lol is that a serious question? OFC they had to show their EAD. I think if you live in California, Florida, or Illinois you can possibly get one valid for 4+ years.

Well maybe showing the passport and social security only is enough or the state id

No, nub. Look up the requirements for a DL. In Cali you have to show your EAD because it proves your legal presence. Unless you can provide another document that proves your legal presence this it's your EAD.

Did you even look at your DMV's website before posting this question?

I don't think florida gives 4 years, last time I got my DL, it only lasted as long as my last EAD

Nah, mine is only valid for 2 years. It expires when my EAD expires. I live in Nevada.
