Absolutely not. Well you definitely don't in order to sit for the exam. All you need is to meet the educational requirements for your state. They are similar for each state. I'm not too sure if SSN is required for licensure but that is still a long time to go. It's going to take a while to pass all four parts, at least for me. It's not exactly a breeze. Requires serious commitment.

I have a B.S. in civil engineering. I also hold a certificate as an Engineer-in-Training in California. I would like to acquire the necessary experience so that I can take the PE exam. It requires a lot of determination but we can definitely fulfill our dreams. Good luck! We can do it!

Like a lot of folks here, I'm majoring in Accounting as well. I also just recently got recruited for an internship with one of the big 4, so I'm pretty stoked about that. Funny thing is my EAD got approved the day I accepted my offer

I have two bachelor's and interning as a paralegal right now. However, now that I have some sort of legal permission to work here I find that now I face a new set of obstacles....I'm trying to apply for internships with the city of Chicago or DC but Im finding most of them are for undergrads students, which I'm not or Graduate students, which I can't afford :-/ weighing my options now....

B.S. in Biology graduate in 2010.

B.S. in Nursing will graduate in 2013 (Currently in 2nd semester of accelerated program)

Also currently applying for MSN in Nurse Leadership and Administration to do after I graduate next year.

I had my sights on medical school during undergraduate, but it was too difficult to get into a school as an international student. So, I switched gears to nursing and could not be happier.
