I have a quick about filing for a ssa...

I am of asian descent and usually you call someone by their first and middle name.

So when my lawyer filed my application, he went ahead and put my first and middle name as my given name(first name).

So my EAD currently shows my first and middle name as the given name.

All my other documents, school records, passports, show my first and middle name separately. Not together..

How should I file my social security card application?

Should I combine my first and middle name and just put it as my first name?

or should I just keep it separate like my other documents?

Just like its written on the EAD. The worker at the SSA wont let you write it any other way.

Yeah it's too late now, just go with whatever is already established.

I actually had it opposite, where it showed first and middle together / hyphenated, but I wanted to separate like 'normal people' and had it done through all the applications/ssc, now subsequently credit cards and etc.

I guess do whatever you feel is more comfortable for yourself, that can be consistent.
