Any of you dreamers want to start your own business?

If so, what field would you get into?

I'm thinking about three ideas, a marketing firm, a beauty salon, and landscaping company.

I'm done with college so I am exploring my options.

i want to get into mobile development so i can work with a company and make my own apps to sell in the App store for android and iphone.

that's cool. I actually knew that a friend of a friend developed an app for apple and apple paid $20k for it. There is def money in that field.

does anybody have an idea about how much money you need to buy a SUBWAY franchise??

when I was in business school it was like 45k but now it probably went up. It's a good idea considering the second competitor has less than 2k locations and subway already passed McDonald's in locations.

I was also thinking of opening a franchise, but I also want to open up like a discunt store around my area, I already know where to get the inventory. I'm just waiting until I graduate (Spring).

The franchine fee is $15,000 and they charge 12.5% royalties plus 4.5% advertising royalties. My old man owns 3 subways around here.

With everything you might be able to get it all set up for as low as $78K with all the costs but it depends on location etc.
