Hello everyone!

I am sure that many of you now have received your SSN.
I was wondering what is the next step for us? What actions should an individual take after
receiving SSN (besides getting a job )

Good luck to everyone and I apologize if the question has already been answered.

Thank you and have a good day.

Transfer your tax history into your new SSN. Get an ID/DL. Open a checking account, get a secured credit card to start credit history, register/update with the selective service if you're still of age. There's so many things to do!

Apply for your driver license or your state ID, if you don't have one yet.

Apply for a state ID/license, if you do not have one. Also, you can apply for jobs, or better jobs if you already have one. You can apply for credit cards (if you don't have one) and start building credit. Trust me, because a good credit score is very important.
