I have a question you guys. Would the person that audits my bank statements look at all the transactions on my bank statements? The question is because I have gotten large tax refunds from the IRS, or the just dont look at that?

If youre sending them in as evidence, they will probably thumb through them to find necessary info.

They do not care about the nature of the transactions, just the dates of the transaction. If you send bank statements to prove 5 year continuos residence, they wont even look at each transaction (they are interested on the first page of monthly summary).

If you use your June 2012 monthly bank statement to prove for the June 15, 2012 requirement, they will look at the transactions for the month, but only interest din the dates, not the nature of transactions.

I think it's the dates on the transactions that matter, don't think they'll look for amounts.

how did every thing go with the bank statements. i am in the same position. I have statements that proof residency since 2006, but I am also worried about the transactions on them.

Most of my evidence was bank documents and I too was a little worried. In the end it was fine.
