For real..is it too much to ask? What's the point of all this advocating and not being able to go even close to the polls? JK, I definitely respect the citizenship process and understand its something you must wait to come to you instead of jumping the line. But yeah I feel slightly down we're unable to vote on this glorious election day morning. If Obama wins tonight, it will be a win for everybody, most importantly immigrants. I just can't wait to get out of work, get done with my studying and settle down in front of the TV with a hot cup of tea. Oh yeah, I'm definitely going ham today at the gym in honor of President Obama's first 4 years and coming new year. This should keep most of us occupied enough to forget about the approval...lol. Simple path to victory for Obama - Iowa, Ohio, Wisconsin.

I know right, I am so jealous of all my friends posting status' and pictures on FB that they voted...I've never wanted to vote so badly in my life.

Come on Obama!!! 4 more years!!

Me too, 2Face. Just yesterday I had a friend who posted a FB Status that said he didn't vote. And then that friend and his friends went on to praise the idea that voting was stupid. My reaction: All of you are a waste of space.

MadMan, my own sister isn't voting, ugh. She became a citizen in May. I do not understand. This whole summer I kept reminding her to register and to vote and she never registered so now it's too late.

On the other hand, my other sister is an election judge and has been very active in turning out the vote.

It's sad. I couldn't get my brother in-law to vote

Did he give you a reason? I'm annoyed my sister isn't voting due to laziness. She was a DREAMer at one point. I'm in IL so it's pretty much a given that we'll go to Obama but I just don't understand not wanting to vote. Guess which sister is getting the better xmas present from me

I'm sorry to hear that. Ahh your sister sucks! Just kidding.

Its always the people who have citizenship who takes things for granted.

It really gets me mad that I am not able to vote. I wish I could. Today I went by the school that is serving as a voting place and saw very few people go in. Smh.
