Social Security question

I went to the SSA office today to apply for my SSN. Everything went good and they told me to come back tomorrow for a printout. But I just noticed that on my receipt my middle name is not included. Just my first, last and moms last name. Could it be that they forgot to put my middle name or did it just not fit? Did anyone else experience anything like this?

I wouldn't know since I haven't applied for one, but you should give them a call and ask before the card is made.

when i went in i had to specifically request for ALL of my names to be included on my card. the lady who helped me asked what my middle name was since there were so many names. i told her to include ALL names but i considered my middle name to be my mom's maiden name.

I have a question, do we have to use our moms 2nd last name as well on social security card and drivers license?

But on the receipt did you have your whole name on there or did they cut it short? Because when they asked me to review my info everything looked good.

Good question anyone know the answer? I'm guessing yes since it's on your EAD card

sorry for the late reply, on the receipt they had all of my names. not cut short. just as it appeared on the physical card.

It'd be weird to have all your documents say one thing and then have your DL not match.

Im going to make sure that on all ma documents (ead/dl/etc...) come out as my BC says.
